Saudi Arabia’s Minister of National Guard Prince Abdullah bin Bandar bin Abdulaziz is patronizing the Military Higher Education Conference, which is organized by the King Abdullah bin Abdulaziz Command and Staff College on April 15-17 with the participation of intellectuals, experts, and researchers.
The Conference is held upon the College’s endeavor to play its role in developing military higher education, which is reflected in the development of intellectual, cognitive, and leadership capabilities in the military and security sectors, in addition to embodying the College’s vision of leadership in military higher education, which examines military higher education and its development areas.
The Conference is tailored to reflect Saudi Arabia’s interest in military higher education and its resolve to be a hub for experts, specialists, and researchers in the field, the Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
It also plans to highlight the College’s role in establishing strategic partnerships and cooperation with educational and military entities, in addition to shedding light on the impact of the conference in developing the military educational sector and its contribution to comprehensive national development.
On 27 December 2018, Saudi King Salman issued a royal decree whereby he appointed Deputy Governor of Makkah Prince Abdullah Bin Bandar Bin Abdulaziz as Minister of National Guard in place of Prince Khaled Bin Abdulaziz Bin Mohammad Bin Ayyaf Al Muqrin.
Prince Abdullah was previously a Deputy Head of Department at the King Salman Youth Center, a nonprofit organization that trains young people to become professional leaders and entrepreneurs.
He gained a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from King Saud University in Riyadh in 2008.
His previous experience included working at the office of Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman in the Riyadh region where he was a special adviser to the prince.
Prince Abdullah was also a member of the Royal Commission for Makkah City and Holy Sites, the Council of Royal Reserves and the Amaala project to develop tourism in Saudi Arabia.
