Sterling Global Operations (SGO), a global stability operations company opened a Command Center in Mauritania last Thursday. The Center is located north of Nouakchott Airport.

The SGO executive team traveled to Nouakchott from Washington, D.C. to host the Command Center's opening, which included a presentation to local business leaders and government officials on the center's capabilities.

“Our technology-enabled solutions and the safety, security and operational productivity we provide in whatever environment we’re called upon to work enable our clients to accomplish their business goals,” said SGO President Alan Weakley (photo).

“Our Command Center in Mauritania will provide integrated solutions for risk management, safety, logistics and expeditionary operations,” Weakley added.

He said the Center will serve four principle categories of clients:

  • Extractives and other industrial facilities
  • Energy, ensuring safety for oil & gas exploration
  • Port and other commercial facilities
  • Banking and finance

SGO is an employee-owned stability operations company employing approximately 3,500 professionals worldwide.
