Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Ra'eesi, Chief of Staff of the Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF) received in his office Air Vice Marshal Ibrahim Nasser Al Alawi, Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and his accompanying delegation.
The guest was accompanied by Air Vice Marshal Khamis Hammad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO).
During the meeting, the two sides exchanged views on several military matters of common interest, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.
The meeting was attended by Brigadier Hamed Abdullah Al Balushi, SAF Assistant Chief of Staff for Operations and Planning and a number of Senior COSAF Officers.
Meanwhile, Air Vice Marshal Khamis Hamad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) also received in his office the visiting Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and his accompanying delegation (photo).
The two sides exchanged views on several matters of mutual interest. The meeting was attended by several senior RAFO Officers.
For his part, General Sultan Mohammed Al Nu’amani, Minister of the Royal Office also received the Emirati guest and his accompanying delegation who expressed his appreciation for the Sultanate of Oman’s efforts in enhancing mutual cooperation.
During the meeting, the two sides discussed several matters of mutual interest. They also reviewed regional and international matters of common concern.
The meeting was attended by the Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO).
Furthermore, the Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and his accompanying delegation visited the Military Technological College (MTC).
Upon their arrival, the guests were received by Air Commodore Mohammed Aziz Al Siabi, Commandant of the MTC.
The members of the visiting delegation were briefed on the College and toured various facilities of the MTC.
Lastly, Air Vice Marshal Ibrahim Nasser Al Alawi and his accompanying delegation, visited the Maritime Security Centre (MSC) where they were greeted by Commodore Adil Hamoud Al Busaidi, Head of the MSC.
Members of the visiting delegation were briefed on the tactical roles and tasks carried out by the Centre in the safety of the maritime environment.
They also toured the Centre’s facilities and viewed its latest equipment and technologies used in carrying out its national duties.
The Emirati guest was accompanied in both visits by Air Vice Marshal Khamis Hammad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO).
