Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defense Affairs HE Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani met with Minister of the French Armed Forces Sebastien Lecornu (photo) and his accompanying delegation in Doha on Sunday.
During the meeting, they discussed topics of shared interest, as well as cooperation between the two sides and ways to strengthen them.
High-ranking officials and officers from the two sides attended the meeting, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.
Furthermore, Sheikh Saoud bin Abdulrahman Al Thani also met with Commander of the United States Central Command in the Middle East, General Michael Kurilla, in Doha on Monday.

In another regional development, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Army Major General Pilot Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah met last week with French Military Attaché to Kuwait Colonel François Dickes.
The two officials discussed topics of common interest, particularly those related to the military and ways to strengthen and develop cooperation between the two friendly countries, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
