The two sides exchanged views on the cooperation and friendship ties between the UAE and Italy, especially in the area of military cooperation between the Armed Forces of the two countries.
The Italian Defence Minister expressed interest of his country to expand horizons of cooperation with the UAE to include different fields, referring to the wise and balanced policies being adopted by the UAE leadership at the regional and international levels that earned the country respect and good international standing.
Present were Sheikh Hamdan bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Crown Prince of Dubai, Sheikh Maktoum bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Deputy Ruler of Dubai, Sheikh Hazza bin Zayed Al Nahyan, National Security Advisor, Sheikh Rashid bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Sheikh Majed bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Chairman of Dubai Culture and Arts Authority, Sheikh Mansour bin Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, other Sheikhs, Ministers, Senior Civil and Military Officials and Italian Ambassador to UAE Giorgio Starace.
