The Chief-of-Staff of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), Lieutenant-General Dhiyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi, and his accompanying military delegation. arrived in Muscat on Monday on a several-day official visit to the Sultanate of Oman.
On Tuesday, he met the Chief-of-Staff of Sultan’s Armed Forces (SAF), Vice Admiral Abdullah Khamis Al Raisi, at the headquarters of the Sultan’s Armed Forces in Al Murtafa Camp.
The meeting was attended by Rear Admiral Saif Nasser Al Rahbi, Commander of the Royal Navy of Oman (RNO), Brigadier Abdulaziz Abdullah Al Manthri, SAF Assistant Chief-of-Staff for Operations and a number of senior COSAF officers, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.
They reviewed the ongoing military cooperation between the BDF and the Sultan’s Armed Forces in Oman, as well as ways to further bolster them, praising the steady progress of the solid deep-rooted relations between the two brotherly countries in all fields, especially in the fields of joint military action and defense cooperation in order to achieve the common interests of the armed forces in the two countries.
The Chief-of-Staff also met the Secretary-General of the Omani Defense Ministry, Dr. Mohammed bin Nasser bin Ali Al-Zaabi, at Al Murtafa Camp, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
Al-Nuaimi also visited the Maritime Security Centre, where he met the Commander of Royal Navy of Oman, Rear Admiral Saif Bin Nassir Al Rahbi.
