On behalf of the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of Algerian Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence, General Saïd Chanegriha, Chief of People’s National Army Staff, presided over this Wednesday, 25th September 2024, the official installation of General Rochdi Fethi Moissaoui, in the functions of Director General of Documentation and External Security replacing Major General Mehena Djebbar.
“On behalf of the President of the Republic, Supreme Chief of the Armed Forces, Minister of National Defence and in accordance with the presidential decree of 19th September 2024, I officially install General Rochdi Fethi Moussaoui, in the functions of Director General of Documentation and External Security, replacing Major General Mehena Djebbar.
Also, I order you to work under his authority and to execute his orders and instructions in the interest of the service, in accordance with the military regulations and the republican laws in force, and out of loyalty to the sacrifices of our valiant Chouhada and the values of our Glorious Revolution,” General Chanegriha declared, the Ministry of National Defence said in a statement.
This occasion was an opportunity that the General seized to provide the executives of this Directorate with a set of instructions and guidelines in order to continue to make more efforts in the service of Algeria and to preserve its supreme interests, urging them to support their new Chief and assist him in the accomplishment of his missions, by committing themselves fully and faithfully to fulfilling the missions assigned, with all the necessary rigor and perseverance.
The General praised the qualities of Major General Mehena Djebbar and the important roles he held within the Military Institution, being among those who devoted their lives to the service of the Nation and the defence of the Republic, in that he assumed responsibilities with success and mastery, demonstrating, throughout his professional career, high skills, proven professionalism and a great ability to meticulously handle the various files.
