Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) Commandeer-in-Chief Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa received Major General Alberto Biavati, Vice President of Policy, Planning, International Relations and Armament Control at the Italian Staff, and the accompanying delegation.
The Commander-in-chief praised the Bahraini-Italian friendship relations and reviewed topics of joint interests, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
Director of General Commander Major General Hassan Mohammed Sa’ad, Inspector General Major General Abdullah Hassan Al-Nuaimi and Director of Military Cooperation Rear, Admiral Mohammed Hashim Al Sadah, were also present.
Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa also paid an inspection visit to Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) weapons and units.
The Commander-in-Chief was briefed on some of the development and modernization plans and stages of implementation. He was also briefed on the progress of the administrative and operational procedures and the requirements implemented to meet the required standards of combat readiness and management.
The Commander-in-Chief said that the increasing attention of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander, is the main drive for the development of combat and administrative defense abilities and the main motive for the progress of military efforts towards the highest standards.
He thanked the members of BDF for their outstanding endeavors to protect the security of Bahrain and its people.
