The exercise is considered as one of the biggest joint Arab man oeuvres in the region with the participation of 8 Arab countries with forces and monitors to carry out joint land, naval and air military exercises.

The participating forces are from Egypt, the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, the UAE, Kuwait, Jordan and other countries taking part as monitors.

The military exercise involves land, naval and air Special Forces and aim to strengthen joint military cooperation between Egypt and other Arab countries in order to build combat capabilities and deliver common goals.

“The drill comes as part of the joint training plan carried out by the Egyptian armed forces with many other countries to develop military relations, face common challenges, and support efforts for security and stability in the region,” according to a statement issued by the Egyptian Armed Forces earlier this month.

Meanwhile, Bahrain Defense Force (BDF) held Thursday, at the Royal Defense Force Training Centre in Manama, a graduation ceremony for a specialized Officers military session, in the presence of Maintenance and Technical Supply Director Rear Admiral Anwar Abdullah Jassim Al Jowder.
