The Royal Artillery Officers’ Club was opened in Manama under the patronage of Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa.
BDF Chief-of-Staff Lieutenant General Dheyab bin Saqr Al-Nuaimi inaugurated the new facility, in the presence of the Assistant Chief of Staff for Human Resources Major-General Sheikh Ali bin Rashid Al-Khalifa and other senior officers, according to Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
Lt. General Al-Nuaimi expressed delight at inaugurating the new club, as part of festivities marking the 51st BDF anniversary. He underlined the keenness of BDF Command on enhancing the administrative and service standards and providing state-of-the-art clubs and administrative facilities for all armies.
He paid tribute to His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa, the Supreme Commander for his royal care, hailing the directives and support of His Royal Highness Prime Minister Prince Khalifa bin Salman Al-Khalifa and His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander and First Deputy Premier.
He also lauded the follow-up exerted by Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) Commander-in-Chief Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al-Khalifa, commended all servicemen for their participation of the Operation restore Hope, conducted by the Saudi-led Arab Alliance.
