Bahrain’s Commander-in-Chief Receives Outgoing Saudi Military Attaché

Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defense Force (BDF), received Brigadier General Fahad bin Ibrahim Al-Thunayan, the outgoing Military Attaché at the Saudi Embassy to Bahrain.

Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defense Affairs, attended the meeting, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

The Commander-in-Chief praised the strong deep-rooted relations that bind the two kingdoms, that continue to develop with support and keenness of their leaderships.

He commended the Saudi Military Attaché’s efforts during his tenure in Bahrain, wishing him success in his upcoming assignments.

Earlier, the Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) met with senior BDF officers in the BDF General Command.

Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Defence Affairs Minister was present.

The Commander-in-Chief said the support and follow up of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces enables the BDF to continue developing and modernising all its units and combat capabilities.
