As part of the Egyptian Armed Forces commitment to exchanging and transferring scientific and research expertise with leading educational institutions, the Military Technical College (MTC) received a delegation from the French Military Academy Saint-Cyr Coëtquidan (AMSCC) to explore the latest capabilities and advanced educational system implemented within the College.
The visit began with a speech by Major General Akram Salah El-Din Mahmoud, Director of the Military Technical College, during which he emphasized the importance of leveraging shared expertise between the two countries, particularly in the field of technological education, which represents a step towards modern technology localization.
The delegation watched a documentary about the Military Technical College, highlighting it as one of the Armed Forces prominent educational institutions, equipped with advanced human resources, training tools, and scientific devices across various specialties. The delegation also toured several academic laboratories.
At the conclusion of the visit, the delegation praised what they witnessed at the Military Technical College and its highly advanced technological capabilities, which rival the most sophisticated systems at major educational institutions, the Egyptian Ministry of Defense said in a statement.
In another development, the Egyptian Armed Forces organized the 3rd annual scientific conference of the Armed Forces laboratories for Medical Research and Blood Bank which comes as part of the keenness to develop and modernize medical services, aligning with the latest global standards to enhance the healthcare system and provide exceptional medical services.
The opening session began with a speech by the conference chairman, Major General Dr. Mostafa El-Naqeeb, Director of the Armed Forces Laboratories for Medical Research and Blood Bank in which he welcomed the attendees and highlighted the significance of the conference as a platform for exchanging information and expertise, reflecting the Armed Forces commitment to advancing laboratory medicine standards to keep pace with global developments in the field.
Major General Dr. Eid El-Tawil, Assistant Minister of Defense, delivered a speech emphasizing the Armed Forces dedication to organizing various conferences in different medical fields, which significantly enhance the performance and capabilities of medical cadres. These conferences equip them with the latest scientific advancements and knowledge to support the healthcare system. Additionally, he pointed to the continuous efforts to serve the community in collaboration with numerous medical and research institutions, maximizing the available resources to provide better healthcare services for civilians and military personnel alike.
The conference included numerous scientific sessions, lectures, and training workshops with the participation of a number of Egyptian and foreign doctors, a group of international experts, consultants and professors of laboratories and blood banks in the Armed Forces, Ministry of Health and Population and Egyptian Universities.
