The General Staff of the Kuwaiti Army announced the successful conclusion of the joint naval exercise Arabian Breeze 2025, held between the Kuwaiti Naval Forces and their French counterparts at the Mohammed Al-Ahmad Naval Base from April 20 to 07 May.

In a statement released Thursday the Moral Guidance and Public Relations Directorate, the General Staff said the exercise aimed to enhance combat readiness, foster the exchange of expertise and operational concepts, and strengthen cooperation in marine surveying, as well as port and sea mines clearing, Al-Rai daily reported.

The statement emphasized that the exercise falls within the Naval Forces’ ongoing training plan with allied and friendly navies, contributing to the development of participants’ technical and operational capabilities.

In another development, Vice Chief of Staff of the Kuwaiti Army Air Vice Marshal Sabah Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah on Wednesday, honored Colonel Youssef Al-Shatti for achieving a Guinness World Record for completing the fastest marathon in full military gear, held in Portugal.

In a statement, the Chief of General Staff commended Colonel Al-Shatti’s remarkable accomplishment, with Major General Sabah Jaber extending congratulations and praised the Officer, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
