Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of State for Defence Affairs HE Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah met with Minister of Defence of Sweden Pal Jonson and his accompanying delegation in Doha on Monday.

During the meeting (photo), they discussed topics of common interest, relations between the two sides and ways to enhance and develop them, Qatar News Agency (QNA) reported.

HE Dr. Khalid bin Mohammed Al Attiyah separately met with First Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Defence and Minister of Interior of Kuwait Sheikh Fahad Yusuf Saud Al Sabah, and his accompanying delegation in Doha on Monday.

Discussions during the meeting covered topics of mutual interest as well as relations between the two sides and the means to further bolster them.

The two meetings were attended by a number of senior officials and officers from both sides.

For his part, Qatar’s Minister of Interior and Commander of the Internal Security Force (Lekhwiya) HE Sheikh Khalifa bin Hamad bin Khalifa Al Thani met separately yesterday with Minister of Interior of Tunisia Khaled Al Nouri and General Commander of the National Gendarmerie (Carabinieri) of Italy Lieutenant-General Teo Luzi, who are currently visiting the country to participate in the opening of the 15th edition of Milipol Qatar exhibition and conference.

The two meetings discussed several topics of mutual interest, and relations, especially in the security fields, as well as ways to support and develop them.
