Bahrain’s Defence Minister Receives Newly Appointed French Military Attaché

Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Bahrain’s Minister of Defence Affairs, received Wednesday Lieutenant Commander Absil Vincent, the newly appointed French Military Attaché to the Kingdom of Bahrain, residing in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, the Minister wished the French Military Attaché success in performing his duties.

The two sides also reviewed the strong Bahrain-France relations, Bahrain News Agency (BNA).

In July 2024, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BNA), received Lieutenant Colonel Clement Noel, the outgoing French Military Attaché to Bahrain residing in Riyadh.

Lieutenant General Abdullah bin Hassan Al Nuaimi, Minister of Defense Affairs, was present.

The Commander-in-Chief expressed his thanks to the Military Attaché for his efforts during his tenure, wishing him continued success in performing his new duties.

For his part, General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Minister of Interior, received Tuesday Vinod K. Jacob, the Ambassador of India to Bahrain.

Shaikh Hisham bin Abdulrahman Al Khalifa, Undersecretary for Nationality, Passports and Residence Affairs (NPRA) at the Interior Ministry, was present.

During the meeting, the two sides reviewed security cooperation and discussed topics of common interest.

General Shaikh Rashid bin Abdullah commended the historical Bahrain-India relations and highlighted the importance of enhancing security cooperation and the exchange of expertise.
