A delegation from Bahrain, led by Staff Lieutenant Colonel Sheikh Isa bin Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, visited the Royal Jordanian Navy and Royal Boats Command on Wednesday, where they were received by the Force Commander.

The delegation received a briefing on operational duties, training, and logistical activities undertaken by the naval and boat command within its area of responsibility.

The delegation toured the naval operations center and was briefed on the maritime radar system used for day and night surveillance, as well as advanced monitoring systems that incorporate artificial intelligence for unmanned maritime operations at the recently inaugurated Jordanian Remote Operations Center (JROC).

Sheikh Isa praised the high level of professionalism and training demonstrated by the force’s personnel and signed the guestbook, Petra news agency reported.

In another development, Field Marshal Shaikh Khalifa bin Ahmed Al Khalifa, Commander-in-Chief of the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF), inspected several BDF units Thursday.

The Commander-in-Chief inspected the units to monitor combat and administrative readiness, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.

He highlighted the BDF’s advancement, under the leadership of His Majesty King Hamad bin Isa Al Khalifa, the Supreme Commander of the Armed Forces, and the support of His Royal Highness Prince Salman bin Hamad Al Khalifa, the Crown Prince, Deputy Supreme Commander, and Prime Minister.

The Commander-in-Chief stressed the BDF’s commitment to equipping its units with advanced defence systems and state-of-the-art combat equipment, while continuously enhancing the professional skills of its personnel.
