Kuwait’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah Al-Sabah on Wednesday discussed with a senior-level American delegation a number of issues of common interest, particularly in the military field, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.

The Ministry of Defense said in a statement Sheikh Khaled Al-Jarrah discussed with the visiting delegation issues of joint concern, particularly military matters, means of boosting mutual cooperation at this level between the two friendly countries, praising at the same time the two sides' keenness on strengthening these relations.

The meeting was attended by the Chief-of-Staff of the Kuwaiti Armed Forces Lieutenant General Abdulrahman Al-Othman and his deputy, Lieutenant General Mohammad Al-Kheder.
