Kuwait Air Defense Force Commander Major General Khaled Al-Shariaan discussed on Sunday with Brigadier General Abdullah Al-Nuaimi, Commander of Air Missile Defense of the Kingdom of Bahrain, the most important topics of common interest, especially those related to military aspects.
This came in a press statement issued by the Kuwait Ministry of Defense after Major General Al-Shariaan received Brigadier General Al-Nuaimi and his accompanying delegation on his visit to the country, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
Both sides discussed the most important joint topics and means of enhancing and developing them between the two sides. The meeting was attended by several senior officers from both sides.
In another development, the Bahrain Defence Force (BDF) held a graduation ceremony for a batch of female recruits last week. Major General Shaikh Ali bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Assistant Chief of Staff for Human Resources, was present.
The ceremony began with recitations from the Holy Quran, followed by a speech providing an overview of the course, including its theoretical and practical components.
The graduates then performed a military field drill, concluding with the recitation of the legal oath, Bahrain News Agency (BNA) reported.
