Air Vice Marshal Khamis Hammad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO) received in his office at Al Murtafa’a Garrison Sunday (photo) Lt. General Turki Bandar Al Saud, Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force.
The two sides exchanged viewpoints and discussed a number of military matters that serve the air forces of the two countries. They also reviewed several matters of common interest, Oman News Agency (ONA) reported.
The meeting was attended by Senior RAFO Officers and the Military Attaché at the Saudi Embassy in Muscat.
For his part, HH Sayyid Shihab bin Tarik Al Said, Deputy Prime Minister for Defence Affairs also received in his office at Al Murtafa’a Garrison Sunday the visiting Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force and his accompanying delegation.
During the meeting, the two sides reviewed the relations between the two countries and exchanged viewpoints on matters of common interest.
The meeting was attended by Air Vice Marshal Khamis Hammad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO).
The Commander of the Royal Saudi Air Force also visited Sunday the Military Technological College (MTC) in Muscat.
The guest was accompanied during the visit by Air Vice Marshal Khamis Hammad Al Ghafri, Commander of the Royal Air Force of Oman (RAFO), Chairman of the MTC Board of Directors.
Upon his arrival at the College, the guest was received by the Acting Dean of the MTC.
The guest was briefed on the College’s educational and service facilities, in addition to its general curriculum, technical specializations and various educational levels. He also toured several training workshops in the college.
