At the outset of his visit, the Commander-in-Chief checked the workflow phases in these units, modernization and development plans according each unit's military tasks and requirements. He also verified the readiness posture of these units and their military preparations.
Field Marshal Sheikh Khalifa bin Ahmed said the Bahrain Defense Force capably and firmly proceeds on the steps of advancement and progress in advanced strides equipping all of its battalions and units with latest military systems as per highest standards in line with constant development in all combat and administrative fields and provision of modern installations to achieve good results on various tasks and fields.
He affirmed the BDF's continuous development boosting its capabilities and providing its battalions and units with all necessary equipment and supplies to perform their assigned duties.
In conclusion of his inspection tour, the BDF Commander-in-Chief urged everyone to exert maximum efforts in serving the beloved homeland under the wise leadership.
Meanwhile, Bahrain’s Coast Guard Commander Commodore Ala’a Abdullah Siyadi received Combined Task Force 152 (CTF-152) Commander of the US 5th Fleet Colonel Mohammed Khalaf Al Eid and the accompanying delegation on Thursday.
He welcomed the guests, hailing the cooperation and coordination between the two organizations to create an advanced operational system to support maritime security.
The meeting focused on the missions and duties of the Coast Guard and its role in securing regional maritime borders. The CTF-152 Commander was briefed about the functioning of the Maritime Operations Centre. He wished the Coast Guard further progress and success.
